We visited La Petite Provence one morning for some pastries and coffee and fell in love with their pastries! As you walk in the cafe the space is split in half, one side is a fully decorated dining room for sit down service and the other side is display cases with a collection of pastries and desserts. You can either order from the case and take it to-go, or you can order in the dining room and eat there. We wanted to see all the goods displayed so we asked our server if we could order from the pastry case and she met us over there. There were so many beautiful options to choose from. All looked so glossy, large, and good. There were chocolate ones, fruity ones, and regular cream cheese filled ones. Also behind the counter was an extended selection of muffins, coffee cakes and other grains. There was a full espresso bar with flavorings on display or you could choose from their house blend coffee. We enjoyed the cozy small cafe feel with prompt service if you are looking to get in and get out. The pastries were not the only star of the show but the gorgeous delicate desserts on display.
As we sat we could see many filter in and out on the pastry case side, some even speaking in French to the case worker who we assumed was the owner.
There was a full menu with hot food such as omelets, french toast, and lunch sandwiches/soup/salad. All are French inspired flavors such as the Brie Sausage Omelet,
Eggs Provence, and Goat Cheese Salad.
