About Hotel deLuxe:
Hotel deLuxe (formally known as The Mallory) re opened in 2006 as a contemporary tribute to the Golden Era of Hollywood film making with posh 1940′s Hollywood decor. A modern mix of styles old with the new adds chic sophistication. The location is close to the Pearl District and Nob Hill shopping.
As you walk into the Hotel deLuxe in the main lobby you see mirrored surfaces, warm colour scheme, glossy surfaces, Lucite lamps and lots of geometric/angular patterning.
400+ classic film photos on scattered on the property. Hotel deLuxe has been award 2011 Readers Choice Top 200 Hotels in the United States.

Gracie’s Restaurant:
Carrying the vintage atmosphere from the hotel and into the restaurant along with a casual elegant menu and cocktail list. Gracie’s serves a full breakfast and brunch in the morning, lunch, happy hour, and a full fine dining dinner menu. The food, service and old Hollywood glamour ambiance made it a fun spot. Detailed gold crown molding with long drapes set the mood.
Executive chef Mark Hosack came out to explain what we would be tasting and he shared with us in deatil the effort that went into making the food.

Here is what we ate… (served family style)
Savroy Gorgonzola Cheesecake with rustic bread and whole roasted garlic
Sizzling Forest Mushrooms with garlic, green onions, and white truffle oil
Fingerling potato chips
The Elizabeth Taylor Cocktail (Crème de violette and champagne)

4fork I gave Gracie’s 4 forks because the food had a gourmet taste with common comfort food. The prices are reasonable I will be back
