H50 Bistro & Bar @ Hotel Fifty

Our server whom we had the pleasure of spending the evening with was Jason. He did an outstanding job and treated us like queens. We were greeted with a smile and sat at our water front view table. Handed a menu of irresistible cocktails. Here is what we choose.

Cinnamon Blood Orange Sunrise – composed of cinnamon anise tequilla, triple sec, fresh lime juice, blood orange puree and orange juice. This cocktail will warm you up fast!

Next we checked out the menu for a few starters and our main course. We were lucky enough to get a little amuse bouche appetizer to go along with our salads and house made baguette.

This little amuse bouche I could have eaten about twenty of these. A small pancake topped with orange marmalade cream, bacon & chives.

The Salad was the perfect starter to our main courses.

We decided to indulge in some of their most popular dishes the half roasted chicken & the 10 oz. St. Helen’s hanger steak.

Both had amazing flavor and were the best meals we’ve enjoyed in months. We loved how each course was throughly explained by Jason so we knew exactly what we were eating and how it was prepared. Samantha was brave enough to try the bone marrow (featured above). I on the other hand was too chicken! She said, “Not bad and I’m glad I tried it.”

After a full array of appetizers and our of this world main courses the thought of dessert was far from our minds. But how could we resist something this delicious! We decided to take our dessert up to our room and enjoy it in the comfort of our jammies and cozy beds.

The H5O “candy bar” was a unique combination of chocolate brownie, chocolate ganache & raspberry mouse. Between each decadent layer were strips of chocolate tuile.
