Jam on Hawthorne
SE 22nd & Hawthorne

This little breakfast joint has been on the top of my list for a long time. One of my good friends drove up from Salem to meet my husband and I for breakfast and I knew this was my opportunity. This place is nothing short of fabulous. If people are willing to wait 30+ minutes for a table you know they have to be good. We waited about 20 minutes for our table but it didn’t seem that long because they offer complementary Portland Roasting Company coffee to pass the time. They also have a cute little bar where you can get service fast instead of waiting for a table. I really liked how they had two kitchens to keep up with the busy breakfast rush.

Jam also offers a happy hour from 4-7pm, 7 days a week! Their menu looks fabulous too I cannot wait to try some of the items.

Their menu has a lot to choose from so it took me some time because I was craving both savory & sweet.

To satisfy my sweet tooth I ordered a side of the Maddie Cakes.

4fork I gave Jam 4 forks because they were absolutely delicious. I didn’t mind the wait at all for a table because good things are worth waiting for. Our service was awesome (we had the guy with the big orange beard) :) Food was delicious I cannot wait to go back!

Side Notes:
Street parking only!
Gets really busy on Sunday mornings
Awesome delicious food with big portions.
