Don’t you just love the smell of freshly baked bread pulled from the oven? There is something about that warm smell that is so comforting. While having breakfast a few weeks ago I couldn’t deny myself a slice of the good stuff. I walked across the street and picked up a few loaves since I don’t have a GCB location close to my casa. I picked up a loaf of The Goldendale, The Goldendale Wheat and The Peasant Levain.
GCB doesn’t just offer and awesome and delicious selection of bread. They offer delicious pastries and are open for breakfast & lunch. Check out their menu HERE.
I had a horrible time deciding if I should take home a few of these pastries but I decided I will come back and enjoy the light Portland atmosphere of the bakery. This place was hoppin’ on a Sunday morning. Lots of people enjoying their breakfast and coffee and of course a carb or two.
I gave GCB 4 forks. Locally made bread is simply the best. All their employees are hard at work making sure you get the best quality that they are known for! Stop in for a treat or pick up a couple of loaves of the good stuff.
